Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 7–8 years of proven experience in financial planning, P&L management, taxation (Corporate Tax & VAT), and full-spectrum accounting responsibilities within the UAE and KSA. The ideal candidate should be CMA or CA qualified, with strong knowledge of regional compliance requirements and the ability to manage financial operations efficiently across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee and ensure accurate VAT filing and compliance with KSA ZATCA and UAE FTA regulations.
- Handle corporate tax filing and compliance as per latest UAE and KSA tax laws.
- Maintain up-to-date general ledger and reconcile accounts monthly.
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue improvement.
- Manage fixed assets register, depreciation schedules, and monthly closing activities.
- Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, tax authorities) as needed.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded, Update accounts receivable and issue invoices, update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).
- Certifications: CA or CMA qualified (mandatory).
- Minimum 7-8 years of accounting experience, with recent and relevant experience in UAE and KSA.
- Strong understanding of UAE & KSA Corporate Tax and VAT laws.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and regional statutory accounting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
