Benefits Analyst
This position supports the Total Rewards/Global Benefits function and will be responsible for various aspects of program management and administration across the full spectrum of benefits.
Job Responsibilities
Data and Analytics - 40%
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes data, metrics, and statistics related to employee benefits and various policies.
- Partners with People Analytics team to develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into benefits enrollment, utilization and trends.
- Performs continuous quality checks of benefits-related data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Benefits Operations, Administration and Process Enhancements - 40%
- Supports the development and implementation of a standardized global benefits framework.
- Assists in maintaining country-specific benefits profiles including benefits inventories, renewals, vendor partnership contact information, etc.
- Acts as point person for vendor risk assessments and related activities.
- Provides benefits support for merger & acquisition activities.
- Maintains process documentation (SOPs) for global benefits areas to ensure no single points of failure for team.
- Collects benefits billing and invoice information from team to keep invoice dashboard up to date.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline benefits administration.
- Contributes to benefit-related projects, including Open Enrollment, implementation of new programs, system upgrades, or process integrations.
Compliance - 10%
- Provides support for compliance activities and government filings (ACA, 5500s, non-discrimination testing, etc.).
- Manages the compliance calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Other - 10%
- Supports Total Rewards & Wellbeing team with special projects and key department initiatives.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
- 5+ years benefits related work experience.
Other Requirements
- Advanced MS Office skills specifically in Excel (formulas, V-lookups, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines, especially during high-demand periods such as open enrollment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and manage multiple responsibilities to meet department goals and deadlines.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with others.
- Self-starter with ability to adapt and pivot with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrates good judgment and professionalism in all areas of work.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
