Role Purpose
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial deliverables across assigned client portfolios. Using a flexible and adaptable approach, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing finance deliverables in accordance with contract requirements, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
Managing and maintaining all financial information across client portfolios.
Handling lease accounting functions for the contract.
Serving as the key financial contact for the client and BGIS contract team.
Ensuring full compliance with contracts, BGIS business systems, and relevant legislation and accounting standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in Accounting/Finance Management.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and accounting standards.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong business acumen with the ability to adapt to change and think innovatively.
Experience using an ERP system.
Experience collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
Desirable:
Experience working in a shared services environment.
Knowledge of IFRS 16.
Background in Property Management, Corporate Real Estate, or an integrated services/property model delivering property management, facilities management, project management, and financial management.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting.
CA or CPA qualification preferred.
