About the opportunity  

As the Manager Employment Compliance, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our organisation’s compliance with workplace relations obligations in key areas, including workplace laws and regulations, Enterprise Agreements and Awards, Contracts of Employment, Policies and Procedures and payroll. Reporting directly to the Head of Industrial Relations and Reform, this is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about employment and workplace relations laws to take the lead in identifying and managing compliance risks, ensuring we’re always ahead of the curve. You’ll help shape and maintain a robust compliance framework, drive strategic risk mitigation efforts, and play an integral part in the implementation of key compliance initiatives across the Group.


What you’ll deliver with us  

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the Group’s compliance culture. You’ll deliver strategic leadership in managing our workplace relations compliance framework, proactively identifying changes in our workplace obligations, potential and emerging risks and implementing effective solutions. From conducting regular checks and driving process improvements to overseeing remediation programs, your work will directly impact the organisation’s ability to meet its legal obligations and minimise compliance risks. You’ll collaborate with key internal stakeholders, providing expert advice and creating a culture where compliance is embedded in everything we do.

You are a highly professional and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of Employment, Industrial Relations, and Workplace legal principles, you bring a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. Your ability to navigate complex compliance challenges and drive business improvements sets you apart. You're an excellent communicator, capable of building strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Above all, you value integrity, confidentiality, and a culture of collaboration that aligns with Australia Post's commitment to putting the customer and the business at the forefront of everything you do.
