About your role:

We are expanding our ACT team and would love to welcome an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference and contribute to best practice. You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services with the assistance of an OTA
• Assess participants’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life
• Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
• A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
• Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
• A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
