Job Description

ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for an experienced Project Manager for one of our clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian Health Insurance domain.

Context

Within the HR domain, our client outlined a new roadmap two years ago and are currently in the process of realizing it. This involves replacing three of our largest applications: the payroll engine, ATS, and LMS. Additionally, they are developing an HR Connector, an AWS application that will link all current and future HR applications. This program includes several projects with strict deadlines and is being executed by both internal and supplier teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Senior project leader to collaborate with Product Owners (internally using Scrum) and Project Leaders from suppliers.
  • Reporting to an internal program manager who leads the entire program.
  • The responsibility for change management lies with the program manager and does not fall within the scope of the project manager's duties.
  • This is a part-time position, requiring availability 2 days per week.
  • Flexibility required for attending status/project meetings.

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Experienced project leader who can quickly integrate and is immediately available.
  • Coordinating the various project cycles on the client side, consulting with Product Owners and external Project Leaders.
  • Closely monitoring project goals, deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Ensuring clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Encouraging collaboration and ownership.
  • Identifying risks in a timely manner and actively managing them.
  • Facilitating decision-making based on data and project progress.
  • Regularly reporting to management on status, issues, and successes.
  • Promoting a learning and results-oriented project culture.
  • Ensuring the transfer of project results to the line organization.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in the HR applications domain is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and able to follow conversations in both national languages well.
  • Experience with the Agile method SCRUM is useful, as internal teams use the Scrum method while suppliers often work with a Project Manager.
  • Aligning both methods smoothly is part of your assignment.
  • Working in a hybrid environment, often from home with great flexibility in working hours.
  • Able to thrive in a hybrid work environment: at least one day a week, working with colleagues from the office.
