API Solution Designer

Mission Overview:

The role of API Solution Designer is critical to our consultancy mission at Keystone Solutions. As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with clients, designing and implementing standardized reusable APIs that align with their strategic objectives. This position emphasizes collaboration with client teams to create robust and scalable API solutions, showcasing the advantages of Keystone Solutions' consultancy framework.

Key Responsibilities:

In your role as an API Solution Designer consultant, you will:

• Evangelize the framework for APIs, defining reference APIs, testing frameworks, and DevOps strategies.
• Design highly scalable, resilient, and performant APIs.
• Interact with various architects to establish reference architecture.
• Collaborate with application teams using the reference API to develop their own APIs at scale, ensuring lessons learned from other development teams are incorporated into frameworks and reference implementations.
• Ensure robust security and authentication for reference APIs.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate APIs effectively.
• Gather API requirements by collaborating with your API team colleagues responsible for the platforms.
• Maintain a master list of APIs (both in development and developed), liaising with different teams to collect future API requirements.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• 5 years of API architecture experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of .NET 8+ and Docker / Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required, with a passive knowledge of the other language.
• Good documentation skills for internal and external audiences.
• Proficiency in GIT is expected; knowledge of CI/CD platforms and Jira is a plus.

Conformity Criteria:

• 5 years of API architecture experience.
• Background in .NET development.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of Dutch or French.
