Applicants should as a minimum have the following qualifications and demonstrate the following skills:
- University degree in a relevant discipline such as Journalism, Communication, Marketing or/and Sustainable Agriculture, Environment, Energy or Climate studies, etc; Master’s degree is an advantage, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as communication in a communication agency, a think-tank, a EU-funded project, a European association, a federation or a public institution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EU communication & information activities, EU Web guidelines, GDPR and IPR requirements is an asset.
- Experience of working independently with various stakeholders, notably donors, public authorities, international companies, at EU level in relevant sectors.
- Experience in advisory services for appropriate communication approach.
- Experience in preparing communication products and relevant material, i.e. newsletters, press releases, factsheets, etc.
- Native-level or equivalent English knowledge, knowledge of another EU language is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and demonstrated experience in facilitating dialogue and communication.
- Good understanding of one of the thematic fields of environment, circular economy, climate change, clean energy transition, nature & biodiversity, or sustainable agriculture.
- Demonstrated experience of contributing to EU tenders.
