THE CONTEXT

As the Public Cloud Product Manager and Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategic development, sales, and go-to-market initiatives for NRB's public cloud offerings. This dual-role position combines product management and sales expertise, enabling you to shape cloud product strategies, and support the sales process by providing technical expertise, guiding potential customers through the benefits of public cloud technologies, and helping to craft compelling proposals that align with customer needs. This role requires an in-depth understanding of cloud computing, particularly public cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.


YOUR MISSION

As Product Management:

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, delivery, and customer teams to deliver a product experience that aligns with customer needs and NRB's business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Cloud Product Strategy: Lead the strategic planning and development of NRB's public cloud service offerings, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs and business goals. Participate in vendors selection and ensure the alignment with the partnership strategy.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, support, pricing model definition and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats and define competitive advantages of NRB's cloud offerings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, operations, and sales, to ensure smooth product delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights on product capabilities, usage, and market trends.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with existing and potential customers to understand their cloud requirements, feedback, and pain points, translating this into actionable product features and improvements.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that cloud products are compliant with industry standards and security protocols, working with legal and technical teams to maintain compliance.

As Presales Consultant:

You will collaborate with sales teams, technical architects, and customers to define requirements, design cloud solutions, and ensure that the offerings meet the customer’s business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Presales Support:

    • Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored public cloud solutions.
    • Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, and calls to articulate the value of public cloud offerings.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoCs), and architecture reviews to showcase NRB's cloud capabilities.
  • Solution Design:

    • Develop high-level architecture designs for customers, considering their specific business needs, technical requirements, and budgets.
    • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to design and deliver the appropriate cloud solution based on customer specifications.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their pain points and requirements.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on cloud technologies.
    • Assist in developing customer-facing documents, including proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
  • Market Knowledge & Strategy:

    • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in public cloud technologies and cloud industry developments.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and position NRB's offerings effectively.
    • Contribute to the creation of internal knowledge resources, best practices, and sales enablement materials.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with the delivery and product teams to ensure that the proposed cloud solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and implementable.
    • Assist in customer onboarding and ensure smooth transitions from sales to technical implementation.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Additional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, cloud services, or sales within the managed services or IT solutions industry, with a focus on public cloud offerings.
  • Product Management Skills: Strong knowledge of the public cloud market, including product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and agile methodologies.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in cloud technologies, IT services, or enterprise solutions. Familiarity with solution-based sales techniques and consultative selling. Ability to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and data to inform product decisions.
  • Presales Acumen: Strong experience in understanding customer requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and articulating business value.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion. Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.)
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset and an ability to address complex challenges.
  • Languages: Fluent in French, Dutch and English.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Strong knowledge of: cloud computing, coud architecture, cloud deployment models, cloud migration strategies
  • Familiar with software-as-a-service (SaaS), infrastructure, and related technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical details into clear, understandable value propositions for customers.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, networking, storage, and compute resources.
  • Knowledge of key cloud services, including: Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Database…
  • Knowledge of technologies such as: Containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), Microservices architecture, DevOps practices
