EY is seeking a skilled professional to join our team that is dealing with auditor independence compliance and consultations.

The independence team therefore plays a decisive role in shaping EY’s perception and operations in this regard.

Your Key Responsibilities
Advise and consult on auditor independence aspects applicable to public interest entities and private companies.
Handle consultations from business professionals, provide advance approvals and manage potential independence breaches
Monitor business relationships as well as firm affiliations from an independence perspective
Research and analyze independence procedures relevant for clients
Develop and implement training for independence matters
Collaborate with international EY independence teams across the EY network
Provide compliance advice based on internal independence policies and test compliance both from a firm and personal perspective
Your Profile
You have/are:
Teamwork and collaboration
Resilience under pressure
Proficiency with technology
Strong client service and problem-solving skills
Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with proficiency level of the second language and excellent English communication skills
Experienced professional (preferably with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an audit or accountancy firm environment)
A Master's degree from a Belgian university.
