Job Description
We are urgently looking for a talented and experienced Interface Designer to join our team in Brussels. This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and user-centric thinking to craft intuitive and visually stunning interfaces. You’ll work cross-functionally with a dynamic team to deliver designs that improve user engagement and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- User Research: Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points to make informed design decisions.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to define product layouts and functionalities.
- Visual Design: Design high-quality interfaces that align with brand identity and enhance user experience.
- Usability Testing: Organize testing sessions, iterating designs based on user feedback.
- Interaction Design: Develop intuitive, interactive design elements for smooth user experiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design goals are met.
- Design Systems: Build and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Accessibility: Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
- Feedback Implementation: Refine designs based on input from end-users and the team.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or similar for design and prototyping.
- Stay Updated: Keep current with industry design trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Documentation: Create and manage design specs and related documentation for seamless collaboration.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in QA tests to ensure designs are effectively implemented.
- Workshops & Presentations: Lead workshops and present designs with clear reasoning and strategy explanations.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve design challenges with creative, user-centered solutions.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent knowledge of UX design principles and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output.
- Strong presentation skills for business and technical audiences.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering detailed technical documents.
- Experience participating in technical meetings with clarity and precision.
Certification Requirements
- UX Design certification or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
