Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Secondment Senior Document Controller. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities:
Handling, uploading, and managing engineering, contractor/vendor documents in myDocs.
Manage the distribution of documents to the right stakeholders, control access, and maintain version control to ensure the use of the latest, approved versions.
Providing document management support to project participants including support to external users (bidders, vendors, contractors, consultants, and clients).
Conduct verification on all other types of documents entered in the system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Expedite the review and approval of documents and report the review status of internally developed, supplier and other third-party documents.
Answer & take action on routine questions and requests, obtain and provide information to stakeholders within and outside the organizations ensuring timely and accurate response.
Provides backup support to the project team.
Ensure database systems are maintained to be highly performant and secure.
What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:
Advanced level in MS Outlook, MS Office including, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Word and demonstrated ability to learn other software tools.
Advanced database management and computer skills are considered an asset.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
Attention to detail.
Time management skills.
Industrial Construction Industry experience is considered an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
The desire to work in a strong team environment to achieve organizational goals, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify system and organizational problems, determine possible solutions, and communicate these ideas effectively.
