Job Description
We are currently seeking a Junior team member to join our Supply Chain Commercial team, specializing in Subcontract Management. As a key part of our team, you will work closely with project teams on inquiries related to commercial terms and subcontract support. As a Junior team member, your initial focus will be on foundational tasks and learning from more senior team members. Over time, you will gradually take on more complex responsibilities as your proficiency grows. This position follows a Hybrid working model with a mix of home and on-site, expectation of 3 days in office a week.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing administrative tasks and supporting business and program teams with routine duties.
Assisting in the initial project phase by managing NDAs, bailment agreements, and collateral agreements.
Handling requests and inquiries from business and program teams.
Contributing to bid opportunities by conducting due diligence and gathering essential data.
Working under management guidance to develop key subcontract elements in commercial responses.
Analyzing information, negotiating, and managing changes and closeouts with supervision.
Developing negotiation strategies and validating financial and legal data.
Producing commercial summary reviews of program status using various data sources.
Collaborating with internal departments, external partners, and vendors.
Providing input on tools and reports for Supply Chain Management, working with other groups to improve relationships, resolve issues, and develop new processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and research abilities, detail oriented
Excellent customer service in order to support client groups and key business decision making
Deliver clear, concise and professional communications
Hands-on experience with MS Office applications
Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Law or other related field
Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
