Operations Project Office Manager (m/f) - 100%
In this staff function in operations, you will build up the project management office for our dynamic and international site in the center of Zurich. This role includes monitoring and support of all operations-related programs as well as the direct management of selected projects.
Your responsibility
- Support management to define, overview and steer our internal project portfolio.
- Define requirements and monitor projects from start to completion.
- Coordinate between teams and projects regarding synergies and conflicts.
- Manage key cross-departmental and structural projects.
- Ensure final evaluation and learnings from completed projects.
- Project office management
- Develop, improve, and train our project management process.
- Define, initiate, develop, control, and support projects.
- Report on individual and aggregated project progress.
- Take responsibility for specific operational projects, processes, and tasks.
- Enable, communicate, and drive change management.
- Support the organization to continuously improve.
Your profile
- Thanks to your extensive experience in project organization, you are able to plan, coordinate, and lead large and complex projects.
- You are highly flexible to work as project manager, support, or controller.
- You have a quick and good understanding of a wide range of topics from infrastructure, procurement, and manufacturing, to finance, administration, and IT.
- Strong in continuous improvement (Digitalization, Lean, 6Sigma, Industry 4.0).
- Beneficial experience/skills:
- ERP systems (Oracle or SAP)
- MES or operational control systems.
- Power BI and data visualization.
- Finance and budgeting.
- Semiconductor or operations.
- IT projects and data requirements.
- Infrastructure and facilities.
- Language skills: Your excellent German and English language skills will enable you to communicate efficiently at all levels of the organization, and with suppliers, contractors, and customers.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with and coordinate dynamic project teams from different departments.
- You are able to develop organizational processes and are used to thinking operationally and strategically.
- With your sense for quality and priorities, you take responsibility in project controlling.
- You work independently and identify tasks, projects, and requirements autonomously.
