Job Summary
The Manager of Data Governance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing data governance policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, security, and effective use of data across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of data management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Ability to communicate openly and honestly with colleagues and customers. Takes personal responsibility for the quality and content of the work, and complies with information confidentiality requirements where applicable
• Data literacy -- the ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options. The ability to translate among the languages used by executive, business, IT and quant stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate with cross-functional teams and drive strategic changes.
