Full-Time/Part-Time Lecturer in Business, management and Digital Innovation (m/f/d)


We are looking for a new colleague to join our faculty in Potsdam and Berlin on a full-time/part-time basis starting as soon as possible. 

The opportunity:

We are seeking experienced academic professionals or industry practitioners to contribute to the delivery and We are seeking experienced academic professionals for the delivery and development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in one or more of the following subject areas:
 
  • International Business Management
  • Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Business Analytics and Decision Making
  • Digital Marketing Strategy
  • Financial and Managerial Accounting
  • Supply Chain and Logistics Management
  • Strategic Human Resource Management
  • Sustainable Business and ESG Strategy
  • Corporate Finance and Investment 
  • Leadership and Innovation in the Digital Age
  • English for Academic Purposes (EAP) / Academic English / English Language Teaching for University Students.
 
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in assigned courses across Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes. 
  • Design and update course syllabi, materials, assessments, and digital resources. 
  • Supervise theses and student research projects. 
  • Conduct applied research and contribute to the university's academic output. 
  • Engage in academic advising and mentoring of students. 
  • Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with international partners and industry stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to the broader academic community at Gisma through committee work and events.

  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching or industry experience, with proven expertise in one or more of the listed subject areas, ideally in an international context. 
  • Demonstrated practical proficiency with modern programming languages, frameworks, and state-of-the-art tools and technologies commonly used in the industry. 
  • Excellent English language skills. 
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and a student-centered approach to teaching. 
  • Residence and legal authorization to work in Germany. 
  • A completed doctoral degree (PhD or DBA) in a relevant field is an advantage. 
  • Proven track record of scholarly research, publications, or applied industry projects is an advantage.
