About the Position
As part of the Global Engineering Team, you will manage the Functional Processes of the Engineering Function globally. Your primary goal will be to enhance the delivery of Engineering Services within Flora Food Group. This includes:
- Ensuring excellence, consistency, and simplicity in the CAPEX program and strategy.
- Overseeing digital platforms and the Decarbonization program.
- Partnering with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of CAPEX Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational aspects and implement change initiatives aligned with the strategic plan.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives and standardize processes across the business.
- Support the Engineering Director in developing Engineering standards and practices.
- Plan and manage project priorities in alignment with regional growth ambitions.
- Develop and roll out Global Engineering digital tools for improved information accessibility.
- Track and report the Global Engineering organization's performance using the Project Delivery Dashboard.
- Define initiatives to enhance change management within project teams.
- Manage CAPEX Budget Tracking and collaborate with finance teams for accurate reporting.
- Coordinate the CAPEX Annual Planning Process with input from all relevant functions.
- Maintain the Global and Regional Project Tracker to support project teams in meeting KPIs.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Excellent project and program management skills; formal certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational and data management capabilities, with proficiency in business data analytics tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and leadership abilities to support business decisions.
- Experience in capital expenditure management and reporting.
- Familiarity with supply chain or engineering environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, with a preference for a multicultural work environment.
