Student Assistant Procurement Finance (Early Careers)

We are looking for a student to be part of our strong Procurement Finance team as part of Asset Strategy Finance organisation to support our operating system with data-driven insights. This is a unique opportunity to combine your studies with hands-on business experience to accelerate your personal and professional development.

Key responsibilities include:      

  • Support Asset Strategy Finance team with coordination of performance management and reporting across procurement, asset partnerships, chartering and fleet investments
  • Provide accurate, timely and aligned reporting of financial, commercial, and operational performance indicators. Support Finance Business Partners with performance reviews
  • Supports the team during annual business planning and quarterly rolling forecast process through project management, financial analysis and driving follow-ups as per business needs
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis for finance business partner teams across asset strategy finance. Supports validation and simplification of business processes, management reports, analytical tools and models

Successful candidate will:

  • Be a master’s degree student currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field including but not limited to economics, finance, statistics or accounting.
  • Be self-driven and outgoing team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly analytical and enjoys working with large amount of data using tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Have solid project management skills with ability to coordinate complex projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Have passion for learning and possess a high degree of curiosity
