Position Summary:
At Volta Bar & Restaurant, part of a vibrant and dynamic hospitality team, we’re looking for passionate and curious students who want to gain real experience in Food & Beverage operations. As an F&B Trainee, you’ll be part of our front-line service team, supporting both the restaurant and the bar area. This is a hands-on internship designed to give you exposure to all aspects of F&B service—from guest interaction to behind-the-scenes setup and coordination.
You’ll learn by doing, surrounded by experienced professionals who will guide you through daily service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
What you will learn and do:
Assist with the daily setup and breakdown of Volta Bar & Restaurant.
Support the service team by serving food and drinks and ensuring tables are clean and well-prepared.
Collaborate with the bar team: restocking supplies, polishing glassware, and assisting with basic bar prep and service.
Receive training as a barista and learn the basics of specialty coffee preparation.
Discover the world of mixology and learn about cocktails directly from our expert bartenders.
Gain insights into inventory management, mise en place, and operational flows.
Understand the importance of hygiene, safety and guest satisfaction in a restaurant environment.
Learn how to respond to guest requests and provide a welcoming and professional experience.
Observe and participate in special events and hotel-wide service moments.
Take part in team briefings and training sessions to grow your knowledge and confidence.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in hospitality and guest experience.
Is proactive, responsible, and enjoys working in a team.
Is flexible, adaptable, and open to learning in a fast-paced environment.
Is comfortable communicating in Spanish and English (other languages are a plus).
Is willing to work evenings, weekends and during events.
