Road Freight Operations Manager

We are actively seeking for highly motivated Road Freight Operations Managers to join our Road Freight Operations team.

The Road Freight Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of shipments for clients, overseeing road freight operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage road freight operations, including import and export shipments.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Negotiate rates and maintain relationships with carriers, shipping agents, and service providers.
• Oversee the preparation and verification of shipment documentation.
• Supervise data entry and maintain accurate records within the company’s ERP system (Orian).
• Monitor shipment schedules, follow up on arrivals, and communicate updates to customers.
• Resolve any operational issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on shipment performance and cost analysis.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Advanced MS Office skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in road freight operations or a relevant position.
• Previous experience in the transportation or freight forwarding industry is essential.
• Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a strong advantage.
