Data Governance Analyst (Banking)

iKnowHow S.A. is a leading Software & Robotics Solutions company operating internationally. Within just a couple of years, our team has grown by more than 80%, we have moved into a new spacious and modern office, and we have embarked on several exciting projects in digital transformation, custom software, and robotics.

We are now looking for a highly motivated Data Governance Analyst to work in new challenging outsourced projects.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and recording critical data (data discovery & classification)
• Performing data quality checks on key KPIs (completeness, consistency, accuracy)
• Developing and supporting metadata management mechanisms
• Collaborating with business & technical teams to document data rules
• Using SQL and Python for automation, controls and reporting
• Contributing to actions to strengthen data literacy and data ownership culture

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality or Data Management
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis and processing
• Understanding of basic Data Quality principles (e.g. completeness, accuracy, lineage)
• Experience with data documentation, metadata catalogs or profiling tools
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multiple teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Lake / Synapse
• Knowledge of Informatica Data Governance tool
• Experience in a banking or financial environment
