We are actively seeking for highly motivated Sea Freight Operators, with passion for for logistics and efficient cargo management, from those starting their careers to experienced experts ready to lead, to join our Sea Freight Forwarding team.

The Sea Freight Operator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of import shipments for clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure readiness for sea freight import/export shipments by verifying documentation and shipment details.
• Coordinate bookings with shipping lines, agents, and correspondents, providing accurate loading instructions to carriers, and preparing/loading notes as necessary.
• Ensure accuracy within the company’s ERP system (Orian).
• Generate and distribute required sea freight documents, such as bills of lading, delivery orders, and customs declarations.
• Oversee the issuance and management of invoices related to sea freight shipments.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
• Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• High school or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business administration or other related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in Operations or relevant position.
• Previous experience in the shipping freight forwarding industry is desirable.
• Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
