Controlling-Reporting Accountant Intern - Your future position?

 

 

Overall mission:

 

 

As a Controlling-Reporting Accountant Intern, you will perform controlling and reporting tasks to deliver the required services to all internal and external customers according to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations.

You will ensure correct and daily execution of main responsibilities in Finance & Controlling according to the requirements specified in your job description. You will report to the Controlling-Reporting Team Lead.

 

 

You Will:

 

 

Business Partnering

 

• Start building relationships with the business and partners
• Take over ownership to find solution for encountered issues
• Collaborate with local Finance to support their daily operations

 

Controlling and Reporting Processes

 

• Prepare site business reports with Senior/Expert
• Perform ad-hoc reporting upon request and inform activities with GSO Controlling
• Analyze Controlling/Reporting activities, make proposals to improve and standardize the processes

 

Product Costing and Production Cost Accounting

 

• Assist the Seniors and Experts to create reports and analysis for product costing

 

Finance Processes

 

• Inventory control and valuation (perform inventory closing, variance, WIP calculation, provision)
• Book journal entries, clear GL accounts, take active part and ensure the accurate completion of the month/year end closing activities, including accruals, revaluation; Provide data for auditors
• Support completion of reporting (month end close related) and reconcile Balance sheet accounts
• Prepare of monthly Measurement reports and ensure that the targets are met
• Understand and ensure compliance with the relevant Policies

 

Migration and Improvement

 

• Ensure knowledge transfer goals are met
• Prepare and update work instructions, process manual
• Contribute to end-to-end process improvements
• Participate in projects

Your professional profile includes:

 

 

• Diploma: College or University degree in progress (preferably in the field of Finance and Accounting or Controlling)
• Languages: Fluent in English and Hungarian
