Join Sanofi’s Global Hub (SGH) internal resource organization to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions​.

We are a team of Project Leaders and Managers with the ambition to operationalize critical R&D processes to streamline the management of our Projects and support our Portfolio. We implement dynamic and efficient solutions for the R&D organization to address current gaps and pain points for end-to-end R&D processes, governance processes and governance committees’ ways of working, as well as build strategic workforce and capabilities and drive best practice sharing, transparency, and communication.

Main responsibilities:

As a Project Manager you will support the management of key initiatives in R&D, articulating the strategy of the project and its execution, also support Project Leaders to drive projects through the design, delivery and implementation ensuring effectiveness is measured.  The Project Manager articulates activities across core team members, identifies risks and mitigation plans, and manages variances in timing, resources/budget, and ensures project quality.  Project management tasks that support the Global Regulatory Team (Common Technical Document, Global Submission Strategy, Investigational New Drug amendments, planning for Health Authority meetings, support when preparing for internal committees).

• Ensure execution of project plan and roadmap within expected timelines, making sure that team members are aligned to deliver on project plans. Provide concise updates on status of project including timelines and budget.
• Communicate project vision as needed and establishes trust within the project team and functional departments.
• Ensure communication to all stakeholders, including regions, functions and platforms as needed. This includes project reports and timely alerts.
• Manage stakeholders by ensuring communication to departmental management on issues related to their deliverables and/or responsibilities.
• Identify issues to be raised with Project Leader and proposes solutions and mitigation plans.
• Act as key connector between different functional interfaces: between sub-workstreams, team members and other parts of the organization.
• Actively contribute to the creation of presentations to Sponsors, management committees, and others as appropriate.
• Complete the project trackers/ PM Tools on a regular, timely and consistent basis
• (Co-) lead project team meetings in alignment with the Project Leader, support and/or lead sub-team meetings.
• Ensures implementation of initiatives and solutions across R&D.

About you

Experience:

• Experience in leading and delivering transversal initiatives.
• Demonstrated the ability to challenge the status quo and implement simple solutions.
• Positive change agent for organizational structure or processes/governance changes.
• Experience working with cross-functional and globally dispersed teams preferred.
   

Soft Skills:

• Project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and levels and proactively engage with key partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
   

Technical skills:

• Understanding of financial reconciliation and LEAN Six Sigma.
•  A broad understanding of the life cycle management of a product including processes and governance.
• Expertise with multiple computer applications (including but not limited to MS Office Suite, Project, Ariba and database management systems). 

Education:

• Bachelors or advanced degree (BS, MBA) in science and/or business.
   

Languages:

• Strong Command of English in both verbally and in writing.
