What the Services Architecture Team does

The Service Architecture team lead the design, build and integration work for services within HEAnet’s portfolio of technical services. The team works closely day to day with the Network and Systems Engineers on wider teams within the Technical Services Function.

What the Services Architecture Manager does

Reporting to the Technical Services Head of Function, the Service Architecture Manager manages a team of Technical Architects, ensuring services developed by the team are high quality, meet our standards and comply with our policies and are in overall good state prior to being handed over to operational teams for service delivery.

Day-to-day tasks involve coaching the team through challenges that arise and ensuring incident escalations and feature requests are handled by the team.
