Underwriting Admin Support

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, who are proudly part of Benefact Group are looking for a Underwriting Admin Support to join our Dublin office.

The role holder will deliver exceptional customer service acting as part of the underwriting team supporting Ecclesiastical’s “right first time” approach to customer service. This position is suitable for someone looking to build, or continue, a career within Insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs
• Input data accurately and efficiently, recognising and rectifying where quality standards have been missed
• Identify issues and anomalies and escalate in line with company policy
• Build effective internal relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and support Ecclesiastical’s right first time approach
• Act on audit results and agreed actions plans to improve own performance and enhance the effectiveness of the team
• Assist in renewal, new business and mid term adjustment processing in line with current processes and underwriting strategy and guidelines, including underwriting of fast track renewals and household policies
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes.
• Understand and operate within regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business in line with company policy.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• CIP or commitment to achieve within an agreed timescale
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Appropriate IT skills
• Customer service experience
