The TECHNICIAN role for TPN LAF Suite and Pharmacy CDSC Suite is responsible for supporting transfer of materials, supporting aseptic manufacturing in a cleanroom environment and inspection and labelling of final product.

Production Technician

This is where we make life-saving products!A phenomenal chance to initiate your career in Baxter as a Technician in Production to join a small team based in our Sandyford operation in South Dublin.

Our teams work shifts in a 2-week rotation (07:30 - 4:00 pm - week 2 09:30 - 6 pm. Monday to Friday (No weekends or overnights). This is subject to change.

What You Will Do:You are accountable and responsible for the following activities:

• Manufacturing total parenteral nutrition (TPN) products in a clean-room environment using LAF (Laminar Air Flow) technology following procedures and regulations to ensure flawless production.
• Perform environmental monitoring of the cabinets & clean-room facility to maintain world-class cleanliness standards.
• Assist in process and equipment validation following procedures and regulations to ensure exceptional quality control.
• Observe and actively promote Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the highest standards of production.
• Liaise with Customer Services and Warehousing on goods inward and delivery-related issues to facilitate seamless operations.
• Monitor facility parameters such as fridges, cabinets, physical parameters, pressure differentials, and incubators to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Stock and maintain changing rooms and other ancillary areas to provide a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure stock maintenance in Grade D preparation areas to support efficient production processes.
• Perform cleaning of isolators, integrity checking, and pressure gauge checking to maintain a sterile environment.
• Carry out transfer sanitization into cabinets, perform volume and in-process checking to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect and label compounded products, dispatch compounded products to facilitate timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality department on quality-related issues, including maintaining and developing GMP within the manufacturing area.
• Follow standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices strictly to ensure compliance and adherence to regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Observe company rules and procedures to maintain a disciplined work culture.

What You Will Bring:

• While experience is helpful, it is not crucial as we provide comprehensive training to all new team members.
• A knowledge of GMP is desirable, but we will ensure you receive the necessary training and guidance to excel in this role.
• A curiosity about learning new technologies and practices is highly valued at Baxter as we strive for continuous improvement and innovation.
• We are looking for self-motivated individuals with good communication skills who can actively contribute to our collaborative team environment.
• An analytical and meticulous approach to problem-solving is essential to ensure flawless production.
• Attention to detail is of utmost importance to maintain the highest quality standards.
• You should possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment, supporting and collaborating with your colleagues.
• The ability to prioritize the daily work schedule is crucial to meet production targets and timelines.
• You should be adaptable to carrying out different tasks based on the daily scheduling of staff, ensuring flexibility and versatility.
• Establishing and maintaining good working and interpersonal relationships is key to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
