Why We Need You!

 

As the Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrator, you will configure, maintain, and manage all aspects of the LMS, manage user accounts, permissions, and system updates and assist with troubleshooting technical issues.

Working with training leadership and other key stakeholders, this position collaborates with department leadership and members of the training team to facilitate the administration, organization, and reporting of training activities, including maintenance of training programs through our learning and content management systems.

What You Will Be Doing

 

  • Responsible for the effective management, maintenance, organization, and optimization of the LMS platform, which includes but is not limited to, module uploads, system configuration, troubleshooting, user access management, content updates, and report generation.
  • Create and manage learning paths, specializations, and single purchase virtual learning opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and best practices for leveraging the LMS and other learning technologies.
  • Provide support, training and guidance to all learners (customers, partners and employees) on using the LMS and other integrated platforms.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide LMS subject matter expertise during learning program development and implementation.
  • Partner with teammates and leadership to evaluate and improve existing processes and workflows.
  • Administration of the certification platform, Digital Badging, reporting and other platform integrations.
  • Identify potential setbacks and effectively communicate process changes.
  • Creates new resources and updates departmental processes to support the team as needed.
  • Communicates with all levels of employees within the organization to coordinate new training and knowledge base change requests.
  • Provide LMS technical support regarding course enrollments and reporting.
  • Interface with IT teams for platform enhancements and projects.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

 

Required

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and administering a learning management system (Thought Industries Preferred).
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced software proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using virtual meeting tools such as Microsoft Teams or similar products.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Power-Bi, SQL, and/or Looker is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS 
• Knowledge and experience in an IT/SaaS company.
• Project Management skills for programs, projects & processes.
• Ability to work effectively with a global and diverse team and produce time-sensitive deliverables.
• Must be able to work well as a team to achieve quality results. 
 

 

Roadmap for Success

 

Key Milestones for the Role:

First 90 Days:

  • Acquire familiarity with internal processes and workflows.
  • Develop a high-level understanding of all relevant systems and tools.

First 6 Months:

  •  Achieve a comprehensive knowledge of key system integrations.
  •  Demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills across various platforms.
  • Develop and maintain the internal LMS platform roadmap

First 12 Months:

  • Execute all Learning Management System (LMS) tasks independently.
  • Perform responsibilities with minimal to no intervention from management.
  • Manage the lifecycle of new features and capabilities from testing through implementation.
