The Head of Learning and Development (L&D) at KPMG Global Services will lead the strategic direction of our learning initiatives and drive continuous professional development for our workforce. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of talent development to enhance employee skills and capabilities in alignment with the organization’s goals.

Roles & responsibilities

L&D Strategy and Execution

•Champion a learning culture and foster an innovative learning ecosystem •Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned to business priorities, growth trajectory and organization culture. •Drive innovation excellence by bringing in niche technology and tools in the overall L&D solutions •Spearhead strategy and tailor-made solutions for business units (across Advisory, Tax, Audit and Enabling functions)

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

•Partner with KGS extended leadership team across businesses ,Member-firms and stakeholders to ensure alignment in learning strategies and initiatives. •Establish meaningful partnership with fellow L&D and HR fraternity across KPMG network. •Be well entrenched with Industry luminaries, partners, and external L&D networks to bring in the best in the market solutions.  

Cost Effectiveness

•Prudently develop initiatives focused on cost-effective learning solutions that maximize ROE. •Leverage Alliance partnerships to provide value-driven, impactful certifications and learning solutions. •Augment Learning Tech ecosystem and operations •Leverage technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, to enhance learning experiences and personalize learning. •Integrate AI-driven solutions for content delivery, assessments, and feedback mechanisms, ensuring that learning solutions are dynamic and adaptive to individual needs. •Drive compliance as per KPMG standards •Ensure ROE on learning and MOS to evaluate impact

Leadership Development

•Deploy robust and sustainable leadership development initiatives for Directors to Partners. •Spearhead milestone and learning events.

Performance Management

•Lead and mentor the L&D team, ensuring a high level of professional development and performance, creating safe space for colleagues. •Encourage a collaborative and innovative team environment. •Manage performance management and development of L&D Team as per KPMG Framework and standards

Building Eminence

•Build both external and internal eminence for the L&D team by actively participating in industry awards. •Advocate for KPMG’s brand and values in all external engagements, ensuring representation reflects KPMG’s commitment to excellence and innovation in learning and development.

Educational qualifications

 

Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) with specialization in HR

 

Work experience

•Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. •20+ years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, or talent management, preferably in a global professional services environment. •Proven experience in designing and implementing Cost effective training, Setting up large CoE’s and development programs. •Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. •- Ability to influence change and drive a culture of continuous improvement. •Business focused mindset to help translate business objectives to people strategies •Ability to collaborate and work with stakeholders across levels and teams. •Ability to work in a complex business environment
