The backend (PHP & WordPress) developer role at one.com is a strategic position that helps develop and enhance our scalable, secure, and bug-free products that generate higher customer satisfaction. This role works closely under the guidance of the group head, team lead and product manager.
Under Agile software development, selected candidates will play an important role in our product strategy by developing and designing various features of the products as per the roadmap in place. They will be responsible for ensuring the product runs seamlessly and generates a great customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining website backend in PHP and WordPress including MySQL database.
Developing frontend using HTML, CSS, JS, frameworks.
Integrate third-party APIs and services.
Design and implement custom plugins and themes for WordPress.
Development of responsive and SEO-friendly web pages on WordPress.
Optimize website performance and scalability.
Ensure the security of the web websites by implementing best practices.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
Job Description
Experience in web development with WordPress and PHP
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of responsive and SEO-friendly web design.
Strong debugging skills.
Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience with Jira as a project management tool.
