•You will work with managers to deliver high quality work in line with tax accounting standards and auditing requirements •Audit of tax is a highly technical area that requires you to perform Risk Assessment, substantive audit and conclude on all tax related balances •Complete the first review of audit of tax documentation in line with KPMG’s quality standards and the internal KPMG Assurance Manual •Resolve day to day issues in delivering the assignment •Juggle multiple requests when working on different engagements •Lead and coach a team of juniors while working on audits •Building relationships with engagement teams and acting as an ambassador for the firm •Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts to develop the business and grow the team by identifying and pursuing new opportunities •Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore •Deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews •Work with L&D team to identify training needs •Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members.This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•Chartered Accountant (ICAI/ ACCA/ ACA)Work experience
•6+ years of experience with a Big 4 or a reputed organisation •Knowledge of audit work over tax balances under UKGAAP (FRS101/ FRS102) and IFRS will be advantageous •IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Excel/ Word/ PowerPointKey behavioural attributes/requirements
