Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator is the bridge between technology and business, ensuring that Salesforce data is accurate in real time and that data files are accurately flowing in and out of the system.  This position best understands how to make the platform work for nimble’s business objectives.  

Core responsibilities include managing Salesforce users, data, security, analytics, and product. This position will maintain the platform, make it as easy as possible for users of any technical level to use Salesforce, and stay current on the platform’s new tools, capabilities, and updates.

Responsibilities

  •  Serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with hands-on configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement 
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and security settings to ensure appropriate access controls 
  • Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks 
  • Design and implement custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and other customizations to meet business requirements 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and business processes 
  • Develop and generate regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards according to business needs 
  • Ensure data integrity by implementing and maintaining data quality measures 
  • Test system changes and upgrades, documenting test scenarios and results 
  • Provide end-user training on new features and functionality 
  • Evaluate and implement AppExchange packages to extend core functionality 
  • Stay current on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly 
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements 
  • Manage integration of Salesforce with other systems as needed
  • User Management: Creating, maintaining, and deactivating user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions
  • Data Management: Importing, exporting, and ensuring data quality through validation rules and data cleaning
  • System Configuration: Configuring fields, layouts, record types, and custom settings within the platform
  • Automation: Designing and implementing workflows, flows, and other automated processes
  • Reporting & Analytics: Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to provide insights into data
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Resolving user issues, providing training, and documenting best practices
  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to Salesforce usage and business processes
  • Integration: Configuring and managing integrations with other systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience Salesforce administration
  • Intermediate to advanced level experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and other sales enablement tools
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration options, and best practices
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, gather requirements, and communicate effectively 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues, both technical and business-related
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights
  • Keeping up-to-date with new Salesforce features and updates
