With this internship you will contribute and support the team to meet successful results in Research & Development projects development for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD).
The internship will be mainly in presence in our Monselice Technology center office: our attention therefore for a candidate who lives near this location or who has a car to be able to easily reach our office.
The opportunity
We are seeking an engineer or data specialist student to join our R&D team for an internship. The successful candidate will be engaged mainly to extract data from different data base or from electrical designs of power transformers. The preferable candidate will have a background data extraction or data collection in engineering field.
Your responsibilities
Develop simple algorithms (DB query, excel macro) to support the data extraction.
Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
Extract and manage data from different Databases.
Resourcefulness in carrying out data collection activities.
Interact and collaborate with colleagues from Italian Team, Global Technology Centers and Factories worldwide to collect the access of different DBs or transformer designs.
Your background
A High school diploma or bachelor's degree better in electrical/mechanical engineering or scientific area.
Knowledge of databases access & queries (e.g., SQL server,) environment.
Knowledge of R Studio and/or Python environment.
Sound knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, PowerBI (or equivalent).
Knowing an 2D/3D CAD will be considered as a plus.
Good in Italian and English.
