About the role

• We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator & Desktop Support Specialist to manage and support our growing office’s IT infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless operations across the LAN/WAN, maintaining security while supporting PC and Mac systems, printing, and productivity applications. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of troubleshooting issues efficiently and independently while providing top-tier support to employees. 

What you'll do

• Network Administration: Maintain and optimize the WiFi network and SoHo firewall to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. 

• Desktop Support: Provide hands-on support for Windows and macOS devices, including software installation, updates, and troubleshooting. 

• Printing & Peripheral Management: Configure and maintain office printers, scanners, and other peripherals. 

• Productivity Applications: Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other essential business applications. 

• ISP & Connectivity: Liaise with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to resolve connectivity issues and optimize bandwidth usage. 

• Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewall configurations, endpoint protection, and access controls. 

• User Training & Communication: Assist employees with IT-related queries, conduct training sessions, and document best practices. 

• Growth Planning: Scale IT infrastructure to accommodate office expansion from 25 to 100 employees. 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT administration and desktop support. 

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, networking, and security protocols. 

• Experience managing WiFi networks, firewalls, and ISP connectivity. 

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools. 

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. 

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal). 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
