About the role
Responsible to develops new or modified process formulations. Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the equipment/manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of semiconductors.
What you will do:
-Plan and schedule the qualification plan for strip test process in new R&D project and new package introduction project.
-Execute new process and product qualification within the committed timeline.
-Lead and coordinate in the overall process integration including IT system to ensure smooth manufacturing line from front of line to end of line
-Collaborate with BG group in new product introduction to validate/modify/compile the test program and align with test specification.
-Setup engineering lot , collect test data and establish the test report
-Sustain the wafer test yield above designated threshold yield.
-Responsible for the quality release of LOH in a timely manner
-Accountable for LOH generation breakdown and assigning improvement topics to respective experts (e.g. equipment, manufacturing, test) and request measures for LRR improvement
-Follows up on LOH improvement actions, monitors effectiveness & closes the loop to MEEQ teams
-Responsible for quality system improvement in the backend test
-Responsible for quality improvement through ICAR reduction per assigned package family/project
What you will need:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
-Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma LSS , Project Management Professional PMP) are a plus.
-Must have at least (5) years of experience in ATE (automated test equipment) with test handling related functions in the semiconductor industry.
-Must have experience in wafer Test
-Prior experience in test process engineering, test equipment engineering, or a similar role is often required.
-Project management and statistical data analysis skill
-Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility environment is preferred.
-Programming skill of C/C++ language is mandatory.
