About The Role

As a Global Quality System Engineer in our brand new Regional Hub / Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in the global Quality Certification team. As such, you should be a certified auditor (with examination) per the schemes ISO9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and VDA 6.3:2023, with active validity of the certificate, and have demonstrated ability to perform/implement/guide/train all phases of audits for both 1st Party and 2nd Party.

This position is also a Global Network Lead (GNL) role for Quality System. As such, is in charge of build a network between regions, set (jointly) with the regions standards and encourage and facilitate inter regional activities aiming to ensure continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System processes, their performance measurement and management. It also builds the global network of functional excellence and functional alignment for what concern Quality System.

Main objective of this position is to orchestrate regional implementation of Integrated Management System in each region, per their local and broader needs. Prepare, perform, report, and follow-up closure of internal audits in each region seeking compliance and continual & continuous improvement with respect to ISO 9001, EMS 14001, and IATF16949. Ensure their full transparency. Follow up up on correctness, efficiency, and effectiveness of execution. Provide on-time active support to regions either physically or virtually.

 

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders (internally with Global Supply Chain Management Team, Regional Operations Team, Regional Supply Chain Team, Regional Quality Team, Regional Procurement Team, Regional Customer Relationship and After-sales team, Regional PPMD team & Regional Finance Team; externally with Customers, Suppliers, Quality Auditors, Certification Bodies & Consultant) across the business including our Global Quality & Procurement function teams in Netherlands & other parts of the world.

Our Regional Hub supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.

You will be joining a newly formed Shared Services Centre team, with opportunities to grow, within Global Quality & Procurement or wider Global Supply Chain functions.
