Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Investigate, resolve and prevent inventory discrepancies through data analysis and trouble shooting in the WMS
Create and distribute daily inventory reports, inventory adjustment summaries, and capacity reports.
Coordinates and performs timely physical stock counting together with the Operations team in accordance with the customer, and Cranes own requirements.
Records process exceptions, and non-compliance through problem logs
Attends meetings addressing specific inventory issues, and develops recommendations and action plans towards their resolution
Stays current on rules and regulations, interpreting and ensuring compliance
Occasional light warehouse duties
Primary work environment is in the warehouse
Other duties as assigned
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in Stock Control/Inventory is desirable.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Must be able to use or adapt to WMS.
Must have the ability to learn to drive varying MHE. This will be required on an ad hoc basis to perform your role.
Must have a good level of confidence to communicate with senior levels of the team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Job will require extended sitting or standing, working in a warehouse and office environment.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong problem solving and data analyzing abilities.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, planning and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and experience working with warehouse management software.
Prepares reports and provides record-keeping, using specialized software when necessary
Capable of walking/standing for 50-80% of the working day
Good command of the English language, B2-C1 level. Other languages a pre
Assists with other tasks as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a warehouse and/or administration role.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
