Audit Supervisor

Are you ready to make a significant impact at ING? As an Audit Supervisor, you'll lead and participate in audits from planning to reporting, interacting with senior stakeholders within the bank. You'll perform audits centrally and across various ING locations, gaining unique insights into the bank’s operations on diverse topics such as Operational Risk Management, Personal Data Protection, and Group Human Resources.

The team

Join our enthusiastic NFR team in Amsterdam, working with five dedicated colleagues. Our international audits are a collaborative effort between local audit teams and our central CAS NFR team. As part of the CAS Risk & Finance Division, you'll be part of ING’s global internal audit department, a highly professional team of over 400 people worldwide. Roles and responsibilities
As an Audit Supervisor for NFR you will:

  • Lead and perform high-quality audits within time and budget constraints.
  • Independently develop audit work programs.
  • Discuss observations with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain engaging relationships with stakeholders.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge and skills.

  • Academic Excellence: Hold an academic degree, preferably with certification in Internal Auditing.
  • Experience: Bring at least 7 years of relevant experience in audit and/or Non-Financial Risk within a financial institution, accountancy, consulting firm, or global organization. Proven expertise in Operational Risk Management and Personal Data Protection is essential.
  • Skills: Demonstrate strong verbal, writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills to ask the right questions, overcome resistance, and convey important information effectively.
  • Personality: Be sceptical, accurate, and a result-oriented team player capable of working in international teams.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel a couple of weeks per year, depending on assignments.
