As a Human Resources Trainee, you would take on the role with a broad range of responsibilities. From supporting the recruitment process and culture-building initiatives to pulling reports and finalizing job descriptions, your very tangible support helps create an outstanding HR experience for our associates at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
What you’ll do
Full-cycle recruiting involving sourcing, coordinating, reviewing, working with hiring managers, and closing candidates
Organizing internal social activities
Day-to-day management of employee records and HRIS system
Own the onboarding experience, ensuring new hires receive a stellar experience
Providing first-level response to HR and benefits questions
Manage and administer benefits programs
Assist in specific training programs to help associates maintain or improve job skills.
Creating innovative internal communication to the associates in a variety of channels eg. Newsletters, videos, townhall meetings

Relevant (hospitality and/or HR) Bachelor degree
Previous experience in a Human Resources department preferably in the hospitality industry
Experience in conducting job interviews
Able to work well under pressure and at the same time have strong organizational skills
Someone ambitious, flexible and approaches each day with a positive attitude.
Speaks fluently English and other language is a plus
