As Group FP&A controller, you act as a strong partner for the finance organization. You add value by providing timely historical and forward looking financial plans and insights to enable high quality decision making. Role and responsibilities
You are responsible for providing meaningful business information to Finance Management and Senior Management to support decision making. The ASML Finance department operates in a dynamic environment where learning, commitment, business partnering, flexibility and continuous improvement are top of mind. We are responsible for driving cost effective transactional, fiscal and financial processes on a global scale, supporting business decisions, financial planning, action management, risk mitigation and maintaining appropriate corporate governance practices.
In this role, you will:
- Support and actively participate in preparing and managing the ASML’s Consolidated Monthly Financial Reviews, Long-Term Financial Plan and Corporate Global Annual Budget Cycle, ensuring high quality planning information in terms of relevance, content, accuracy and timeliness
- Play a role in preparing Financial Planning & Analysis presentations and communicating with Senior Management, the Board of Management and the Executive Board
- Identify, communicate and monitor financial risks and opportunities, and translate those - in close cooperation with controllers – into executable actions with aim to improve business performance
- Drive continuous improvement through initiating and executing changes together with subject matter experts involved in the processes which enhance the efficiency effectiveness and quality of financial planning information, tools, processes, analysis and organization
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Business Economics, followed by an RC/RA/CPA/ACCA/ACA e.g
- At least 10-15 years relevant working experience in a Business Control or FP&A environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex financial processes in an international environment
- Experience with management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the full PL of an operating company within the Group or at the Group level (as a part of the FP&A team)
- Extensive experience with planning applications (SAP-SAC is preferred) and related tools (SAP BW, BI reporting, etc.)
- Preferably experience in (high) tech environment within an international public Group and proven track record of quickly understanding complex content.

Other information
As our Group FP&A controller, you will report to BI&C consolidated manager and interact with controllers of the business lines, sectors, group functions, regions across the globe, treasury, tax, project management and the decision support group, to generate insights to enable high quality decision making .
This position has high visibility both within and outside Finance.
