In WB Lending we are owner of all WB Lending data across the organization and we need to disclose Data for multiple purposes. Our ambition is to make the Lending Data Ready for use and become a data-led business enabler that contributes to ING's market competitiveness, regulatory compliance and seamless decision making through data harmonization, governance and end-to-end integration.
Job description
As Process expert, you will be the one improve the E2E Data chain in Lending and report to the Product lead of Data Readiness & Offering area. Your key responsibilities:
You will design and implement the E2E Data process journeys in WB Lending and suggest points of improvement (for example the Data platform onboarding & delivery process)
You will provide expert advice to members of the area on how to improve existing processes/journeys and identify inefficiencies based on feedback, requirements and policies. Also, taking into consideration evolving commercial needs and market landscape
You see the connection between Strategy, Processes and Data in WB Lending and understand the impact of change in one of them
You feel comfortable taking people along and are good in driving adoption of new processes
You bridge IT and business through understanding of client needs, digitization and ensure delivery is of the right quality by defining and executing user acceptance test
You can communicate with stakeholders from different levels across business, IT and compliance
You will be responsible for continuous learning and sharing of your experience/ knowledge and colleagues from different domains. You are the example in giving and receiving feedback to improve yourself, the squads and the Lending Delivery organization
You will use different ways of working like design thinking, lean startup and agility to ensure the quality of features and stories. You have an entrepreneurial mindset; think big, start small and scale fast.
We are looking for
Background in Data Management, governance or Data operations
Experience in process optimization (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM for example)
Experience in standardizing workflows in complex organizations
Knowledge of process modelling tools (BPMN, Visio, Aris etc.)
Ability to drive organizational adoption of new processes
Understanding of Data architecture, data platforms and automation tools
An energetic, motivating person who can work as part of a team but also independently. A colleague who displays all aspects of ING’s Orange behavior
An open and transparent communicator
Your ability to simplify complexity and drive operational excellence
A colleague with analytical skills who takes decisions based on data and facts
A pro-active, creative and an out-of-the box thinker with a can-do mentality
PRE: experience working with data catalogs, meta data management and ETL/ELT processes
PRE: able to help guide organization through cultural change in data management
Qualifications
Minimal 5-7+ years of working experience
Pro-active, open minded, goal driven personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment
Experience/affinity with Wholesale Banking within Front Office, Process Management, Transformation, Risk Management or Data management
Interested in new technological and data science applications
Excellent command of English
