STA - Non-Financial Risk Specialist

The opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join CMA NFR organisation as a Non-Financial Risk Specialist to work closely with CMA NFR Lead and together:

  • Contribute to the design, preparation and coordination of various NFR initiatives having in mind supporting the business in efforts to stay within the risk appetite and help to respond to various NFR related requirements, requests, queries etc.
  • Challenge, advise and support the identification, analysis and mitigation of non-financial risks within the WB CMA
  • Rising the NFR awareness
  • Work closely with CMA Governance Lead, CMA Management Team and their Business Managers, 2LoD and ODCR as well as collaborate with counterparties in other business areas and locations

The role will allow you to build international network across CMA locations and outside of CMA business area, learn about the CMA business and have opportunity to work on various topics and projects from NFR area.  

Key responsibilities

In your role as a STA Non- Financial Risk Specialist for the WB CMA you will:

  • Be involved in designing and maintaining Process Control Standard CMA Framework and corresponding test plans as well as implementation across WB CMA organization globally
  • Build a strong relationship with the (senior) managers within the WB CMA by providing solutions on mitigating existing and emerging risks
  • Contribute to various risk assessments relevant to WB CMA
  • Contribute to the global gap assessments related to implementation of various policies impacting WB CMA
  • Make sure that the NFR frameworks and policies applicable to WB CMA are implemented and working effectively
  • Liaise with relevant 2LoD and 3LoD colleagues for risk management questions and/or advise on risk mitigating activities.
  • Contribute to the Secretariat of CMA Global Risk Management Platform (GRMP)
  • Assist with management of CMA PARP reviews and central inventory
  • Other NFR related topics

Requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree with up to 4 years relevant experience, in (Banking Industry) risk management or risk auditing.
  • In-depth knowledge (and practical experience) of ING NFR processes and frameworks
  • knowledge of WB CMA products would be advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Strong communication skills: written and oral
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proven planning & organizational skills
  • You are a team player but are able to deliver individually in close cooperation with other ING colleagues.
