Job Description

With all Delta industrial products, Implement or simulate solutions or functions for some industries’ need.

We are looking forward to providing reliable solutions that integrate all Delta IA products for customers’ pain points or key features. 

During the internship, interns will learn automation knowledge and understand vertical industry eco-systems.

Your task is to develop a library/API that can be used as a bridge between All Delta’s products or to simulate a function that can solve some requirements from the vertical field.

Design and Implementation of Vertical Integration for the woodworking industry

Functions or Integration of vertical build-up:

• To survey and research, the vertical or industry we target on
• Drawing the architecture of your project
• The environment setup according to the vertical if needed.
• languages for MATLAB or Mathematica to be used to simulate your subject.
• Other industrial languages following IEC-61131-3 for realizing your design.  
• Some hardware design and implementation are already completed but accepted modifications if required.  

The goals of the assignment are:

• Learn about how we use our products to provide technological solutions (Motion controllers, Robotics, Servo drives, and other related products) for your vertical.
• Build and test an application as explained in the assignment above.
• Prepare technical documentation about the project.

Additionally, during the internship, you might be helping R&D to do some vertical research and small task assistance. 

Qualifications

• You are enrolled at a school during the whole duration of the internship.
• A bachelor's program with strong knowledge and background in mechatronics or computer science.
• Familiar with simple electrical wiring or soldering for electrical design
• Some basic knowledge of embedded coding, software, and communication protocol
• A basic knowledge of MATLAB or Mathematica is a plus.
• You are enthusiastic about technological solutions or vertical integration.
• You are enrolled at a university for the whole duration of the internship (5-6 months) and are available from September 2025.
