Senior VTC/AV Technician

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior VTC/AV Technician to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role:

• Set up and manage AV infrastructure for digital meetings and events, including equipment, streaming, and recording.
• Develop and execute comprehensive AV implementation plans in coordination with clients, ensuring clear communication and high-quality customer service.
• Prepare and operate a mobile streaming studio, including videowalls, green screens, and related audiovisual equipment.
• Draft technical documentation and detailed Run of Show plans for large-scale digital or hybrid conferences and events.
• Lead and supervise a team of AV technicians during major digital/hybrid events.
• Design and produce jingles, banners, and other digital signage for online meetings and events.
• Provide support for digital/hybrid events using platforms such as Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and other collaboration tools.
• Offer first-line support and troubleshooting for issues related to conference scheduling, videobridging, and recording.
• Monitor AV and video teleconferencing services to identify, verify, and diagnose technical issues.
• Coordinate corrective actions in collaboration with senior technical engineers.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• A minimum of 3 years of post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering).
• At least 5 years of experience delivering live digital or hybrid events.
• Demonstrated experience leading AV technician teams during live events and meetings.
• Strong knowledge of collaboration tools such as Cisco WebEx, Poly, Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc.
• Ability to configure, install, and troubleshoot AV systems from vendors such as Poly and Cisco, including familiarity with Poly RMX, DMA, and RPRM.
• Experience working in international, multicultural environments.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) is required.
