Digital Communication & Automation – Product Owner
Working in the Digital Engagement team
The Digital Engagement team is a team of digital marketing experts that focuses on enhancing the customer experience through commercial and non-commercial communications. These digital communications are orchestrated on various digital channels like websites, social, email, paid media (e.g. Google, LinkedIn) and Lyreco's webshop.
Your responsibilities as Product Owner
As Product Owner you are the spill between stakeholders of the Digital Engagement team and the team itself. You set clear objectives, manage the roadmap, give the team input on what needs to be delivered and make sure every initiative has a clear briefing. You communicate the outcomes and performance of the assets created by the team to stakeholders.
In this role you work closely with the Brand & Communications team to ensure the right type of content is created for deliverables produced by the Digital Engagement team. You always look for ways to collaborate more effectively with the team and stakeholders.
As Product Owner you make sure the deliverables created by the team are in line with the strategic scope and mission of the CX department and company overall. This means you will (co-)create new digital products and iterate on existing ones to see continuous improvement in performance. You are used to working in an Agile way.
On a daily basis:
You align with internal stakeholders to collect input, do a first level evaluation matching the request with the teams mission and department strategy to decide to bring this to the team.
There, together with the digital marketing experts, these challenges are translated into tactics and if needed further refinement questions that you will pick up.
You help the team by monitoring and managing their backlog of refined tasks to implement, monitoring progression and adjusting the backlog to safeguard priority tasks.
You report back to different stakeholders and keep them informed and involved in the process.
You join the team in setting up and publishing materials where needed.
Together with your manager Digital Engagement and the team, you continuously co-develop a strategic vision for “Digital Communication & Automation” at Lyreco and translate its concepts into structured priorities towards execution.
Our ideal product owner…
Experience in or working with customer facing communications and/or customer experience operations
Affinity with marketing technology and sales CRM is a plus
Strong stakeholder management & communication skills towards multiple disciplines in the organization and even outside the organization (partner management)
Expertise in (agile) delivery, from requirements/user stories to delivered communications & customer value
Experience in managing and maintaining a backlog and prioritizing within
