The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences is a diverse faculty with more than 4,000 students studying across six schools, led by world-leading researchers, teachers, and practising health professionals. Te Kupenga Hauora Māori (TKHM) is located at the Grafton Campus. TKHM represents the Department of Māori Health and is responsible for the coordination of Māori health teaching across the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, the Vision 20:20 initiative responsible for indigenous health workforce development and the Tōmaiora Research Unit is responsible for conducting Kaupapa Māori health research and training services.
Located on the Grafton Campus, the school is fully self-contained, in a purpose-built building. The building has been designed to maximise interaction and collaboration.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
To fulfil our commitment to the Vision 20:20 initiative, which aims to increase the number of Māori and Pacific health professionals through the Māori and Pacific Admission Scheme (MAPAS). The faculty is seeking to recruit an inspiring individual to support our Māori and Pacific students through their cultural and educational journey within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS) as the Student Support Advisor.
