The role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Analyst (BA) to support a critical connectivity project within our General Insurance business. This role will focus on delivering value through strong business analysis practices in an Agile delivery environment, working closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs and define the future ways in which we deliver Insurance solutions to our customers within a connectivity environment. The ideal candidate brings deep insurance domain knowledge, thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced setting, and has a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to support the Initiation and Discovery phases of the Digital Commercial Connectivity initiative
• Focus on process and functional analysis to ensure the project aligns with business objectives and supports future-state needs
• Analyse existing insurance products and their features to determine the suitability of current offerings for future use or transformation and identify gaps or misalignments
• Document business rules, decisioning logic, and underwriting criteria in collaboration with SMEs
• Model future-state workflows to support digitisation, automation, and customer experience enhancements
• Support Agile delivery teams by participating in sprint planning, product backlog, and retro’s
• Ensure traceability between business goals, requirements, and delivered solutions

Qualifications and experience

• 8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of general insurance products and underwriting rule and questions sets preferred
• Previous experience working on large scale digital transformation projects in complex environments.
• Highly collaborative and engaging communicator
