This is a great opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Engineer looking for a technically challenging project.  You will have proven experience delivering quality projects and be passionate about working within the heavy civil and structures space.  You’ll run your own section of work ensuring the safe completion of work in a timely manner, within budget and to the highest quality. You will project manage, plan and coordinate mechanical, electrical and civil construction stages, managing the interfaces between and ensuring procurement and construction timelines are met and within project budget.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or other relevant tertiary education, and knowledge of New Zealand standards
  • Significant project experience in heavy civil
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage great relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • A good understanding of control systems
  • Experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioning
  • Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
  • A passion to succeed in business with a strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship qualities
