Group Management Accountant

We are seeking internal applications for a 12 month secondment opportunity.

In this role you will have the opportunity to utilise your technical accounting skillset while also offering a business partnering element. T&G is a complex global business with lots of moving parts, so there will be no shortage of challenges in this dynamic role!

Key responsibilities include:

• Complete the month-end process for business units, including processing journals.
• Prepare monthly financial reports to capture spend vs. budget and investigate material variances.
• Partner with allocated business units, prepare clear and insightful reports and statistics reflecting financial results of operational activities.
• Prepare and present results to senior management in review meetings.
• Liaise with the business units to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for consideration in revised forecasts
• Assist with the design and execution of an effective annual budget cycle.
• Assist with Treasury activity and reporting as required on an ad hoc basis.

About you

As an internal employee, you'll bring a good understanding of our business, and will have bult some good relationships with your stakeholders. Our ideal applicant would present with clear understanding of the fundamentals of accounting. You would have sound management and financial accounting foundations exposure and strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Degree qualified in Accounting & Finance or similar discipline
• CA/part CA qualified desirable
• Ideally, experience gained working in management or commercial accounting
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to PowerBI would be a bonus
• Experience in horticulture or manufacturing industries would be an advantage
