As a Senior Workforce Analyst within Tech NZ, you will be a key enabler of Huritai, aligning and driving workforce initiatives that create opportunities for our Tech NZ people while ensuring we are future ready. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to support initiatives aligned with the Technology NZ People Plan, ensuring cohesion with the Technology New Zealand operating model and the wider NZ operating model (CoEs).

Role Location: This role is based in Wellington

Role Type: 9-month secondment/fixed term

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Standard)

  • Contribute to Tech NZ organisational design efforts to enhance adaptability and delivery
  • Amplify and coordinate engagement and inclusion initiatives
  • Support the development and delivery of talent and career initiatives, including Engineering Career Pathways
  • Utilise workforce data insights and feedback from Technology NZ to drive improvements

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Experience working across Talent & Culture, Organisational Development, or related role(s).
  • Good communication skills and ability to connect with different people, to engage and influence decision-making
  • A trusted advisor who can navigate complexity and translate workforce insights into practical actions
  • Organised and able to prioritise multiple initiatives effectively
  • Analytical and data-driven with a problem-solving mindset
  • Seeks to learn, adapt and refine approaches to create better outcomes
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced evolving environment and bringing others on the journey

You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
